As part of the G.R.O.W. project, games, dynamics and playful activities to reconnect children with nature are being implemented in the extracurricular context by the NGO Movimento Bloom whose mission is to promote, encourage and disseminate environmental conservation among children, families and education professionals through initiatives that aim to create an emotional connection with Nature, helping them to play an active role in its conservation. Movimento Bloom represents Sharing Nature Foundation in Portugal and develops Flow Learning methodology, a highly effective outdoor learning strategy developed by Professor Joseph Cornell, one of five learning methods recommended by the US National Park Service , alongside the work of Maria Montessori, Howard Gardner, John Dewey and Jean Piaget.
